Shelbie & Brian Elzas Wedding

I must preface this post with saying that my life has been so hectic the past two months! I got a new job at Kohls that is seasonal and "part-time" but way closer to full time. So, my passion has been put on temporary hold while I save up some money to take a trip back to Colorado and then possibly purchase some new photog toys! I hope you all are doing wonderful and gearing up for Christmas! Now onto business!

Shelbie is one of my best friends! Shelbie and I go way back....I know it's so cliche to say, but it's true. We went to school together and rode the same bus! We met in 7th grade and over the last year have rekindled our friendship. I adore her and her passionate love and faith for our God. She's been such a light in my life and shooting her wedding was very bitter-sweet for me. Before her wedding I had flown to New Hampshire to see the hubby and spend some time with him. I went back to Colorado for one last trip to do Shelbie's wedding. We had a blast at her bachelorette party! And then came the wedding day. It was full of emotions, seeing my dear friend marry her love and knowing that we were both splitting paths and going on to new adventures. And now I'm tearing up thinking of how beautiful her day was.

On this wedding, I had the pleasure of inviting my close friend/mentor Angela Klocke to second shoot for me. I loved having Angela by my side. She photographed my wedding and is so talented. If you haven't checked her out yet, be sure to do so. She has been a huge blessing in my life! I love having her to look up to and talk to. Seriously....read her blogs...listen to her words....LOOK at her photos! She is just all around amazing!

So lets start with the photo sharing! Enough talking!

Shelbie and Brian, I wish you all the happiness in the world. It was an honor to photograph your wedding and be apart of your big day! Your friendship means so much to me and I am so blessed to have you in my life! Thanks for letting me share your joy!

  1. First, you're so sweet. Love you, girlie!

Second, I love seeing different sides to the same scenes, plus everything I didn't get to see (getting ready, etc.). I had such a blast with you at my side, and I miss you so much. So many great shots. I'm sure Shelbie and Brian are thrilled to have so many different views of their beautiful day. <3

  2. Many congratulations for your wedding. Styles opted by you are pretty too. My friends want to celebrate a spinster's party before my wedding. Also suggested me few Seattle Wedding venues for the occasion. Will keep Halloween or a super girl theme for cake and decorations. Also need to buy some suitable dresses too.
